As you trek deeper into the valley, the landscapes unfold with terraced fields, picturesque villages adorned with prayer flags, and the ever-present backdrop of snow-capped peaks.

Passing through villages like Lama Hotel and Ghoda Tabela, where yaks graze peacefully, you'll eventually reach Langtang village, a charming settlement inhabited by the Tamang people known for their warm hospitality and rich cultural heritage. Here, you can immerse yourself in the local way of life, visiting monasteries, sampling traditional cuisine, and interacting with friendly locals.

Continuing further into the valley, the trail ascends to Kyanjin Gompa, a high-altitude settlement surrounded by towering peaks. Langtang Valley Trek Itinerary:


Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu, our representative will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. Take the rest of the day to relax and explore the vibrant streets of Kathmandu, soaking in the rich cultural heritage of the city.

Day 2: Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1550 m / 5085 ft)
After an early breakfast, Explore on a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi, the starting point of your Langtang Valley trek. The journey takes approximately 7-8 hours via private jeep, passing through picturesque landscapes, terraced fields, and rustic villages. Upon arrival, settle into your lodge and enjoy the serene surroundings.

Day 3: Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel (2380 m / 7808 ft)
Begin your trek towards Lama Hotel after breakfast. The trail winds through dense forests of pine and rhododendron, with occasional views of cascading waterfalls and snow-capped mountains. Lama Hotel, nestled amidst the forest, offers a peaceful retreat for the night after a 6-hour trek.

Day 4: Lama Hotel to Langtang Village (3430 m / 11253 ft)
Today’s trek takes you further up the valley towards Langtang Village. The trail gradually ascends, providing stunning views of the Langtang range. Langtang Village, with its Tibetan-style houses and prayer flags fluttering in the wind, offers a glimpse into the local Tamang culture. Trekking duration is approximately 7 hours.

Day 5: Langtang Village to Kyanjin Gompa (3870 m / 12696 ft)
Continue trekking towards Kyanjin Gompa, a scenic village famous for its ancient monastery and cheese factory. The trail ascends steadily, passing through yak pastures and crossing glacial streams. Upon reaching Kyanjin Gompa, enjoy breathtaking views of Langtang Lirung and other peaks. Trekking time is about 3 hours.

Day 6: Acclimatization Day: Hike to Tserko Ri (5000 m / 16404 ft)
Today is set aside for acclimatization and exploration. Hike to Tserko Ri, a viewpoint offering panoramic views of the Langtang range and surrounding peaks. The hike takes approximately 8-9 hours round trip, including time to soak in the awe-inspiring vistas from the summit.

Day 7: Kyanjin Gompa to Lama Hotel
After breakfast, begin your descent towards Lama Hotel. Retrace your steps through the picturesque landscapes, enjoying the downhill trek with views of lush forests and distant Himalayan peaks. Overnight at Lama Hotel, trekking for about 6-7 hours.

Day 8: Lama Hotel to Syabrubesi
Continue descending from Lama Hotel back to Syabrubesi. The trail winds through rhododendron and pine forests, offering occasional glimpses of wildlife. Enjoy the last stretch of your trek with the serene ambiance of the Langtang region. Overnight in Syabrubesi after a 6-7 hour trek.

Day 9: Syabrubesi to Kathmandu (Drive)
Today marks the return journey to Kathmandu. Enjoy a scenic drive back, reflecting on your trekking adventure and soaking in the landscapes one last time. The drive takes approximately 8-9 hours, and upon arrival in Kathmandu, you'll be transferred to your hotel.

Day 10: Final Departure
After breakfast, depending on your flight schedule, you may have some free time for last-minute shopping or sightseeing in Kathmandu. Our representative will transfer you to the airport for your onward journey or homeward bound flight, marking the end of your memorable Langtang Valley trekking experience.
